The Girl In Olene

The song is about a boy trying to prove himself to a girl and her unimpressed father.
The Girl In Olene is one of the first songs I’ve written for the new band. The video has Tom Lucas on banjo, (me) Alan Bond playing guitar, Bruce Lacey playing bass, and Judy Forrest on guitar.

Crash Your Love into a Brick Wall

My old-time cowboy friend who crashed his truck into a brick wall is an inspiration for love, life and this song.

Amargosa

Amargosa is a Death Valley song I wrote about lost love along the Amargosa River. A cowboy riding along the bitter flowing Amargosa water after losing both the Amargosa girl and the Black Mesa Girl.

Roustabout
A bluegrass classic done as only Alan Bond & Skedaddle can do it.

Delta

Here's a pretty song about Rio Vista, Iselton, and Locke. They are all mentioned as part of the Delta. We were playing at a favorite hangout, Mei Wah Beer Room when I decided to write this song.
